Arthur George Robinson was born on 19 Jul 1879 in Highmore Township, Hyde, Dakota Territory, United States, son of Sherman Bourne Robinson (1865–1902) and Julia Minerva Sherwood (1859–1920).^[1]

Arthur (37) married Myrtle Florette Bassford (18) (born on 13 Mar 1898 in Carroll, Wayne, Nebraska, United States; daughter of Henry Edgar Bassford Sr and Emma Elizabeth (Heyman) Bassford) on 6 Nov 1916 in Kalispell, Flathead, Montana.^[3] Their known son was Don Robinson (abt. 1915–abt. 2005).

They were living at 758 Broadway, Tacoma, Washington, when Arthur (39) registered for the World War I draft on 12 September 1918 in Tacoma, Pierce, Washington, United States.^[1]

In the 1920 census Arthur (age 40) was the married head of household in Kalispell, Flathead, Montana, United States.^[4] The household consisted of the following persons:
