Biography

Annie Robinson was born in 1847^[1]. She is the daughter of Richard Robinson and Ann Collier.

On March 29 1870 she married Paris Brooke Anderson at Makara.

Anderson— Robinson.— On the 29th inst, at Makara, by the Rev. R. Fancourt, Paris Brooke Anderson, Esq., sixth son of the late Lieut. Colonel Anderson of the 86th Regiment, and Fort Major of Edinburgh Castle, to Annie Alice, eldest daughter of Mr Richard Robinson, of Makara, settler. ^[3]

The death occurred at Wanganui on Wednesday of Mrs Anderson, relict of the late Mr Paris Brooke Anderson, aged 81 years. The deceased, who was very well known locally, having resided in Otaki and Manakau for many years, leaves a grown-up family to mourn their loss. For some years Mr and Mrs Anderson conducted the Otaki Railway bakery business, while the former was also a well known fisherman on the coast. Mrs Hughes (Otaki), is a sister to deceased and Mr Fred Robinson (Manakau) and Mrs Richard Robinson (Levin) brothers. Otaki Mail, 6 Nov 1929
