Birth

Stephen Robinson was born on Naushon Island, Chilmark, Massachusetts, about 1773, the son of Zephaniah Robinson and Anna (Hatch) Robinson. (Banks has his estimated birth date as 1778 on page 3:421, but corrects it to 1773 on page 3:422; his mother had died by 1776.)^[1]

The date of his birth calculated from age at death is 19 November 1766 (age 77 years 5 months 19 days on 7 May 1844. ^[2]

Marriage

Stephen Robinson married Mary (Polly) Gifford at Chilmark, Massachusetts, on 22 Jun 1796.^[1][3][4]

Death

Stephen Robinson died on 7 May 1844 in Fairhaven, Bristol, Massachusetts ath the age of 77 years old. Cause of death was consumption. He was buried at the Naskatucket Cemetery in Fairhaven. His parents were listed as Zephaniah and Ann Robinson. His birthplace was noted as Chilmark Mass. His wife Mrs. Robinson was the informant for his death. ^[5]
