Albert Nelson Robinson "I" was born in 1869. He was the 2nd son and 3rd child of George Cleland Robinson and his wife Ann "Annie" (Howell) Robinson. The family lived in Wilmington, Delaware, where Albert Nelson was born. His father was a horse-drawn carriage manufacturer and had had an important contract with the US government during the Civil War for hearses and ambulance wagons. The family were of Scotch and Protestant Irish/English heritage and belonged to the Presbyterian church in Wilmington. His name "Albert Nelson" reflected his grandmother Elizabeth Nelson's oft-repeated statement that they were kin to the famous Napoleonic Wars Admiral, Horatio Nelson, who won the Battle of Trafalgar and whose statue decorates London's Trafalgar Square still today (2015).
In 1891, Albert Nelson Robinson I married Grace Treca Noon in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.[1] They had 3 children:
On 1899, shortly after her third child was born, Grace (Noon) Robinson caught cholera and she died of that disease on May 6, 1899. Shortly thereafter, on August 4, 1899, her infant son, Allen Robinson, also died of the dreaded disease. Now a bereft widower, Albert gave his 2 other small children [Marion Howell Robinson & Albert Nelson Robinson "Sr."] to his married older sister, Lola Robinson Whiteman, to raise (see Robinson-8623).[2]
Three years later, Albert N. Robinson I re-married, this time to Minnie Whiteman, the younger sister of Lola Robinson's husband, Thomas Jefferson Whiteman. Shortly thereafter, young Marion and Albert returned to their father's home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The family then moved to Landis Township, Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey, where they owned a poultry farm; they also kept a home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Albert and Minnie (Whiteman) Robinson had two children together:
Albert Nelson Robinson I died on September 5, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. He is buried at Woodlands Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, USA. Plot: N 174.[3] His 2nd wife, "Minnie" (Whiteman) Robinson, survived him; she lived in Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey, near her two sons, until she died there on August 15, 1966. Minnie is buried at Siloam Cemetery, Vineland, Cumberland County, New Jersey, USA.[4]

I am trying to locate information on Marion H. Robinson Hart, an obituary would be extremely helpful.
Facts as I think I know them:
May have died in Illinois in March 1964, if the SSDI record I found is the correct one.

Thank you so much Anne! The 1910 census is the correct family, as well as the 1920.
Minnie Whiteman married the widower Albert N. Robinson in 1902 in Philadelphia, PA. Marion [Howell Robinson] and her brother (Albert) Nelson Robinson are 1/2 siblings to Ralph and E. Howell Robinson. Minnie's older brother Thomas [Whiteman] was married to Albert's sister Lola Robinson, this family gets rather confusing.....
Now that I have a correct death date I am hoping to be able to obtain a genealogical copy of her death record. Oddly enough I have always thought her to be born c.1896, but her SSDI record claims May 15, 1893. Her husband's WW I draft record lists his birthdate as May 15, 1895. If she was born in 1893 it certainly explains why I have not found her birth record!
I am so grateful you were able to locate the correct family, the "other" Marion Hart was the "state's attorney" for a period of time. The facts just did not fit together. My Marion was listed as a dietician in the 1920 census, a long stretch from becoming a lawyer in less than 6 years!
Thanks again.
