Biography

Nancy was born on 28 Nov 1820 in Georgia. She passed away in Waldo, Arkansas on 26 Jul 1892 and was buried in the Mount Olive Cemetery, Waterloo, Arkansas.. ^[1]

30 Jan 1838: Ann Robey and Asa Sewell were married in Fulton County, Georgia.^[2]

1850 Census: Ann and Asa (38) Sewel are living in Campbell County, Georgia. The record notes that Ann was 27 years old and born in Georgia. The couple have 4 children in their household: Louisa A. (9), Sarah E. (7), Martha (5), and Amanda (3).^[3]

1870 Census: Anna and Asa (55) Sewell continue to live in Campbell County, Georgia. The record show that Ann is 45 and born in Georgia. There are now 7 chidren in the Sewell home: Amanda (23), Nancy (17), Victoria (15), June (11), Bartow (9), Thos (4), and 3 month old Bowden.^[4]
