No birth record for Elizabeth Rockhould has been found. Her birth is an estimate based on the fact that she was married before 11 JUL 1699. This is the date of the will of Francis Stephens who left Elizabeth Todd, daughter of Mary Rockhold, 20 shillings to buy a ring.[1] Since the common age of marriage at this time in Maryland was about 16, this was used to come up with her birth year.
