Florence Roe Stump was the daughter of Granville and Sarah Ann Sharpes Roe of Roane County WV; and granddaughter of George and Priscilla Zinn Sharpes of Calhoun County WV and James and Jane Cather Roe and Harrison County WV.
Her birth record included among the West Virginia Vital Research Records says that she was born on 1 OCT 1855. However, her gravestone shows she was born in SEP 1855.
