Ingeborg was born on 2 May 1840 and baptized 27 May 1840, the daughter of Mikkel Arnsen and Brit Knutsdatter.[1] She emigrated via Trondheim on the "Tasso" in May 1872, destination Marquette (MI).[2] Ingeborg married John Anderson Asbjeld on 22 Apr 1875.[3] They had children:
Ingeborg died of pneumonia on 7 May 1898[4] and was buried at Crystal Lake Cemetery.[5]
In the 1865 census Ingeborg (age 26) was a datter (daughter) in Sør-Trøndelag.[6]
