Biography

Marie / Mary Noe was born on July 4, 1670 in Mannheim and was baptized on July 11, 1670 in the French Church, daughter of Peter Noe and Margaret Clark Dumont. [1][2]

Her father, Peter Noe (also Pierre Noue) was a Huguenot, who came to New Amsterdam in 1663. [3] [citation needed]

Mary Noe (Marie Neu) married John Trembly (Jean Traubles) in 1689. [citation needed]

This is probably the Wallonia region of today's Belgium which was the southern part of Zeeland in the 1600s. Belgium and Luxembourg were part of Zeeland (Netherlands, Holland) until the 1840s.

Highly unlikely that Mary Noe Trembley was Sarah's mother. She would have been over 55 years old.
