Ann was born in Brooklyn in 1836. At 30, she married Henry C Sammis, and four years later, she gave birth to two sons, Frank and Harry. Frank died as an infant, and they'd relocated to Huntington by 1880. Henry died in 1893, and Ann lived with her son Harry until her death in 1918.
