Alfred and Lilian appeared in the 1939 Register^[2] residing at106 Emden Street, Manchester. His occupation "Tailor's Presser Heavy Work". (Note...one child, Eric A. born 1920 listed on Register. Two redacted entries at address normally indicating still living children).
