Biography
Martha was born in 1842. She was the daughter of Asa Rogers and Sarah Chandler. She lived with her parents and siblings in Wilson, Tennessee in 1850.[1]
Martha married William J Bennett on 22 July 1859 in Wilson, Tennessee, United States.[2] They had children. They lived in Marion, Illinois in 1870[3] and in Salem, Marion, Illinois in 1880[4] and 1900. [5]
William passed away in 1909. Martha lived in Salem in 1910. [6] In the 1920 census, Martha (age 77) was the widowed grandmother of Eva Baker in Vincennes Ward 3, Knox, Indiana.[7]
Martha, daughter of Asa Rogers & Pauline Chandler, died (age 85y) on 21 July 1927 in Raccoon, Marion, Illinois.[8]
