Biography
Queenie was born in 1905. She is the daughter of Edward Rogers and Cath Canavan.
She married Wilfred Bancroft in VIC in 1927. At time of marriage, her occupation was knitter and she was living at 18 Mayfield St, Coburg, VIC.
By 1928, she and Wilfred were living at 14 Kerford St, Coburg and they were still there in 1931. (Electoral Rolls)
They had 2 children, Myrtle b.1929 & Edward b.1931.
By 1934 they were living at 1 Lord Weaver Gr., Bonbeach and were there until at least 1937. (Electoral Rolls). Wilfred's occupation was grocer and Queenie was home duties.
By 1942 they were at 33 Kendall St, Coburg and Wilfred's occupation was textile worker. They continued to live there until at least 1949.
She died in 1987.
