He married Helen Moffett Curtiss September 1, 1838 in Peekskill, New York. They had eleven children: Emily Curtiss Rogers, David White Rogers, Joseph Knight Rogers, Helen Olivia Rogers, Martha Elizabeth Rogers, Charles Addison Rogers, Millard Fiilmore Rogers, George Albert Rogers, Angeline Rebecca Rogers, Theodocia Rogers and Ross Ransom Rogers. His wife Helen died on February 27, 1861 in Provo, Utah. On January 24,1863 he married Cynthia Ann Eldredge. They had sixteen children: Cynthia A. Rogers, Henry Preston Rogers, Mary Rogers, John E.
