Biography

Postuma was the daughter of Daniel Rogers and Susan Yetsworth. She was baptised at St Olave Silver Street, London on 16 Feb 1590/1^[1]

Posthuma married Johnes. Speer on 10 February 1618 in Saint Martin In The Fields, Westminster, London, England.^[2][3]

Postuma and her husband John were named in the 1626 will of her stepfather Thomas Shotbolt of Ardeley. She was named as "my wife's daughter". ^[4]

Postuma had her will drawn up on 14 July 1674 describing herself as of WIng in the County of Bucks.^[5] She made bequests to and mentioned:

• my daughter Anne Wey
• my grandchild Richard Speare and his brother Charles
• my son John Pumballs (?) three children, William, Mary and Elizabeth
• Sir Henry Capell
