I previously believed that Pleasant Rogers was the same as the Pleasant Rogers of the 2nd Tennessee Infantry, but further examination shows that Pleasant Rogers of the 2nd Tennessee Infantry was only 18 years old upon enlistment. Also, there is a Pleasant Rogers in Sevier County, Tennessee in the 1860 Census who seems to be a better match for the 2nd Tennessee Infantry Pleasant Rogers.
