Research Notes

Several documents claim David was a descendant of the Marian Martyr John Rogers of Smithfield, England. Read some in "Stories." This claim has yet to be disproven.

David and his wife Martha traveled to Utah with their daughter Susanna and her sons in the John S. Higbee company in 1852[3] although that fact is not documented in the Mormon Pioneer Overland Travel records.
