Mary Rogers was born on 10 March 1664/5 in the part of Marshfield, Plymouth Colony that later became part of Pembroke, Plymouth, Massachusetts Colony. Her parents were John and Elizabeth (Unknown) Rogers.[1]
Mary was baptized in Scituate on 16 April 1665 as the daughter of Elizabeth Rogers.[2] Her father had become a Quaker in 1660, so his children baptized after that year were baptized in the Scituate church under their mother's name.[3][4]
Mary married Samuel Doggett in Marshfield on 24 January (inferred to be 1682/3 based on birth date of first child). The Marshfield record spells their names Samuel "Dogged" and Mary "Roggers".[5][6][7]
Mary and Samuel had children, all born in Marshfield:[5][8]
The birth of the first Samuel is recorded in Marshfield records, but not his death or the birth of the second Samuel. The birth of the second Samuel is only given in the Doggett-Daggett family cited herein. It is unclear what the source records for the death of the first Samuel and the birth of the second Samuel were. The early Marshfield records are in poor condition, so it is quite possible that the missing records are no longer extant.
After Mary's death Samuel married second, Bathsheba Holmes on 21 June 1691, in Marshfield.[6] He had seven more children with her. He died on 15 September 1725, in Marshfield.[5]

I took over this profile because at the time it was an orphan, and I am a descendant of Thomas Doggett. But I haven't done any work on her, and in fact am going to bow out as a manager because there are now others. Sorry I can't be of any help.
Is there new research that shows she was the daughter of the parents shown? She is not listed in Ann Reeves and Alice W.A. Westgate, Mayflower Families Through 5 Generations, Thomas Rogers, Vol. 19 (Plymouth, MA: General Society of Mayflower Descendants, 2000 [3rd printing]) as their child. If no reliable source can be provided she should be removed from the parents, but perhaps a link to them in the bio suggesting that she might be an unproven child and supply any relevant sources to support the theory.
I am correcting this.
Thanks!
