Biography

Lydia, daughter of Henry and Lydia Rogers, was baptised at Horsham St Faith on 3 May 1773 (the parish record shows the third, but it is not readily available).^[1]

She most likely married William Florence, a widower, at Horsham St Faith on 29 January 1798.^[2]

Research Notes

Her mother died in 1795, aged 49^[3] That gives a birth about 1746.

Henry Rogers married Lydia Scott at Horsham St Faith in 1766.^[4]

Henry was probably baptised at Horsham St Faith in 1745, the son of Henry and Amey Rogers.^[5]

Liddy, daughter of Neathen (another transcript has Nathan) and Elizabeth Scott, was baptised at Horsford in 1747.^[6]

Grandparents

Henry Rogers married Amy Futter at Rackheath in 1742, both were of Newton St Faith.^[7]

Nathan Scott, a widower, married Elizabeth Slarter at Horsford in 1745; both of that parish.^[8]
