Biography
Samuel was born in 1862. He is the son of John Rogers and Rebecca Conner. [1]
Had child by Lura Elliott: William Thomas Rogers, Sr. Samuel moved first to Kingsman Kansas to live with his brother James K Polk Rogers. When land opened up in OK,in April 1889 he staked his claim 8 1/2 miles SE of Hennessey in Columbis Township in the Myrtle community.Married Alice Wilson. A young lady he met who came to the springs of his farm to get water for the livestock that was on her farm nearby. Samuel moved his family into Hennessey in 1902.
