Obituary (August 27, 1924 Kirwin Kansan) WILLIAM A. ROGERS - DEAD - Last Sunday evening at 5:30 pm, William A. Rogers died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mae Whitney, at the Commercial Hotel. The cause of his death was a cerebral hemorrhage following a stroke of apoplexy. He was 60 yrs, 4 mos. And 15 days old and had been in poor health here at the home of his daughter for some time. D.E. Nesbitt had charge of the body which he prepared for shipment to Lyndon, KS for burial. The funeral will be held today. During the absence of Mrs. Whitney, the Commercial Hotel will be closed.
