Biography
William was born in Pennsylvania in 1848 to Andrew Rodgers (1810-after 1870) and Margaret Mary "Peggy" (Cramer) Rodgers (1816- deceased). He married Mary Ellen Fleck and they had a family. By 1880, he was supporting himself, his wife, three children under 8, and both his wife's parents on a day-laborer's salary.[1] In 1910, he and his wife were living with their son, Charles.[2] William died in 1913.[3]
