There are no marriage transcriptions for the years of 1669-1672 for the Kingston Reformed Dutch Church to validate her marriage. Very little information has been found on this Roosa branch. Several baptismal records in the New York City Reformed Church list her name as Maria Alderts. These transcriptions provide proof that she was the daughter of "Aldert", as that was the common Dutch translation of her name. Her name appeared in the NYC Reformed Records, as noted:

Also small lott in town of Horly bounded northwest to ground of Mattys ten Eyck, southeast to ground of Jan Roosa, north to streete and southwest to Mill Dam. Also right in woods or bush land within limits of horley with all benefits, & c. Signed in Kingstown 13 April 1706, Lourens Jansen, Mari Roosa. Wits.: Jacobus Elmendorp, Abraham Staats, Rt.
