Hurley, Ulster County, New York. Unfortunately Baptism records are missing from from the Kingston Reformed Dutch Records for years 1676 and 1677; see Hoes p. 9.
He married Rebekka Schepmoes. Bergen et al. stated that they married in 1709 in Kingston, New York,[1] but this marriage is not in the Kingston church records, which list only one marriage in 1709. The first recorded child of this marriage was baptized in 1710, so 1709 is a reasonable estimate for the date of marriage.
