He died on September 27, 1843 in Turner, Androscoggin, Maine and is buried at Upper Street Cemetery in Turner Center, Androscoggin, Maine, where all 3 of his wives are also buried. He was a farmer and lived on the road from Bradford Village to General Turner Hill.
Ethelbert married Abigail Tirrell (aka Tirrel, Terrill) on May 2, 1817 in Turner, Oxford (Androscoggin in 1854) County, Maine (Massachusetts to 1820), USA. Abigail was born in 1796 in Minot, Androscoggin, Maine.
