Martha was born in 1854. She was the daughter of John Rose and Elizabeth Ayres. Middle name sometimes shows as Elizabeth. Married to JW Alvis in 1881, apparently had a son, Paul B 1894 D 1939 and a daughter Pearl B 1883 D 1897. Their only descendant, Paul's son JR died at age 19, according to George Rose. She passed away in 1913.
