Biography

When Arloa J. Rose was born in September 1846 in Ohio, her father, Warren, was 26 and her mother, Hannah, was 21.

In 1860, Aclia Ross was 14 years old and lived in Delaware, Ohio. (1860 United States Federal Census) In 1870, Avora J. Long was 23 years old and still lived in Delaware, Ohio. (1870 United States Federal Census) She married John M. Long in 1870. She had three children by the time she was 28. In 1880, Arloa J. Long was 33 years old and lived in Butler County, Kansas with her husband, John, and daughter. (1880 United States Federal Census) In 1900, she was 53 years old and lived in Guthrie, Oklahoma with her husband, John. (1900 United States Federal Census) Arloa Long and her husband lived in Guthrie, Oklahoma in 1907. (U.S. City Directories, 1821-1989)

She died in 1907 in Guthrie, Oklahoma, at the age of 60, and was buried there in Summit View Cemetery.
