First wife of William B Gray; Dolly L. Rose was born December 26, 1814. She married William B Gray, July 3, 1831, and settled on their farm in Concord Township, Erie County, Pennsylvania in 1834, where they resided the rest of their lives. Dolly and William had eleven children: Albert Litchfield, Cordelia, Alonzo, Mary Ann, John W., Paschal, Sarah, Silas, Lucy, Jeduthan and Dollie Cecelia. Dolly, the mother, died May 1, 1853, at the age of thirty-eight and was buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery at Spartansburg, Crawford County, PA.
