Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper:
Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.
We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.
And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.
As always, I'm here to help if you have any questions!

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages.
Looking for a specific person? Try under find and enter the name you are looking for (with dates if you have them).
It is very important to you (and to others) that you include as much bio info about each individual as possible & dont forget the need for sources. You will come to appreciate the need for this background info and sources as you continue with WikiTree.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. John Beeson WikiTree Mentor
We hope you will like our collaborative genealogy community. You now have full access to all the features of WikiTree.
There is an introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
We do emphasize Sources at WikiTree as well as dates and locations as you build your family tree here .
Thank you and if you have any questions , please feel free to ask .

I've always been curious regarding my family's past. Things have been shared over the years, although it's often hard to verify, it would be nice to find out. Every different site is trying to bleed money out of you with no promises given. I don't believe that's good, and I don't have the money to piss away to find out. I have discovered many ancestors through internet research that was free. I'd love to share what I've found, and possibly learn more. With luck, all our searches will be fruitful...good luck.
