Biography

Jacob Ross married Catharine Baker on 17 October 1848 in Darke County, Ohio.[1]

Jacob and Catharine were found in Washington Township, Darke County, Ohio as of the 1850 Census.[2].

Among the children of Jacob and Catherine:

  • William, b. about 1859[2] or 1863[3]
  • John Wesley, b. 27 November 1854[4] (lists mother as Catherine Miller)

Jacob was residing in San Diego, California, at the time of the 1910 Census. He was widowed, putting Catherine's death before this.[5]

Jacob Henry Ross married Lovinia Ann Layton on 1 October 1857 in Muskingum County, Ohio, so presumably Catherine died before that.[6]
