From John Passmore's Ancestors and Descendants of Andrew Moore, 1612-1897, Vol 1., to wit:
- Children of Francis M. and Dorcas N. (Gilmer) Ross.[1]
- JANE E., b. 1-2-1845, m. 5-27-1867, Samuel A., a son of James and Nancy (Wright) McElwee. He is a trader and farmer. Jane E. d. 8-20-1880.[2] She was a member of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, and greatly beloved by a large circle of friends for her·sweet, amiable disposition, and Christian character. Samuel A.'s P. 0., Yorkville, S. C.
