Biography

The Witches of Scotland
Katherine (Ross) Ross Lady Foulis was accused of witchcraft in Scotland.

Katherine Ross, Lady Fowlis, was tried in Ross-shire 22 July 1590 for the crime of witchcraft. She was declared innocent by a packed jury who were all dependents of her family.[1][2] Her stepson, Hector Munro, was also tried for witchcraft on the same day and likewise acquitted.[3][2]
