Biography

Capt Abram Burnett Ross was born in 1826 in Patrick County, Virginia. He was the son of William Ross (1800–1851) and Mahala Burnett Ross (1806–1884).

Abram Ross married Catherine James Ross (1839–1870) on 5 Mar 1857 in Franklin County, Virginia. The couple had at least three children Fannie Ross Goode, Catlett James Ross (1867–1899) and Mary Ross.

Abram Burnett Ross died in 1874 (aged 47–48) in Floyd County, Virginia.
