Mysterious Disappearance. (BY TELEGRAPH, PROM OUR CORRESPONDENT.) MELBOURNE, Tuesday. Mr. James Hunter Ross, a well known resident of St. Kilda, has mysteriously disappeared. He left a letter in a pillar letter-box on February 13, saying that he intended to commit suicide by jumping off the St. Kilda pier. As the brother of Hunter declared that Hunter did the same thing in Sydney some time ago, it was supposed that the letter was a dodge. Hunter has not been seen since the letter was found in the pillar box. It is now supposed that he has committed suicide.
