Biography

"229 AARON ROSS was born 3-2-1776 at Newark, N.J. He married 2-5-1800 at the Lyons Farms Baptist Church, Elizabeth Heddon of Orange, N.J. She was born 6-12-1780 and died April 1863. Aaron was a blacksmith and lived at Orange. Elizabeth married 2nd, Lott Pratt, who was born ca. 1767, Mass, and died 10-13-1852. Per the 1850 Census, Elizabeth (Hedden) (Ross) Pratt was at The West Ward of Newark with may of her children and grand-children. Children of Aaron and Elizabeth:

• 717. Mary H. born 9-1-1804.
• 718. Hannah E, born 2-12-1807. She married Aaron Conselyea 12-18-1832 at the First Christian church, Camptown, N.J. Per the marriage record she was of Newark and he of Little Falls, N.J. Per the 1850 Census, Hannah and her son were with her mother at Newark. She was said to have lived on Staten Island in 1898. They had a son, Minard Coselyea, b. 9-30-1833.
