Arthur Rotch was born on 1 February 1899 to Abbott Rotch and Margaret Anderson in Boston, Massachusetts.^[1]

Arthur married Alice Gedney Storrow on 30 April 1935 in Needham, Massachusetts. They had three children.^[1]

Arthur died on 6 February 1973. He is buried at Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge, Massachusetts.^[2]
