Hi Paula,

Got an email that was super tiny, but I've just about managed to work out it's about Ann Holmes (neé Smith).

I had a quick look at her profile and didn't see any symbols, but with the brain injury perhaps there are some there I can't see(?) If so, if you know how I can fix that (in very simple, easy language - I find wikitree's guides are not optimised for access), I'd be happy to. Unfortunately the gentleman who used to be assigned to help me with the inaccessible portions of wikitree hasn't been in touch for some time, even though another colleague asked him if he could help with one or two things. I'll add this to the list to check in the meantime.

Hi D.G. The surname Smith on that profile has quotations surrounding the surname, so if you edit surname, delete it all. then type Smith and save it should take them out. If you go to https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Contact_a_Mentor you can request another mentor. The page might be tiny because of your zoom level, if you click the 3 dots in the top right corner it will show you your zoom percentage and let you zoom in more or less.

Best Wishes

Hello. Thank you for working on the Profile of John Edgerton RUGGLES. Due to me, there is an error. I added his correct spelling & dates, and I apparently made a second John E RUGGLES. I’m not sure how to merge this. The dates are correct; his m n is Edgerton. He was an only child. Thanks so much.
