Interesting Lois,

Could you supply the sources?

Is it okay to put a comment here about the mtDNA haplogroup that she is now tentatively connected with through one descendant?

"K1a4a1 is the most common K subclade in Western Europe, Germany and Scandinavia today. K1a4 was probably one of the main K1a subclades among Neolithic farmers." This from https://www.eupedia.com/europe/Haplogroup_K_mtDNA.shtml.

Please ask me to take down this comment if it is not appropriate or when it is superseded by better research.

Unknown-422767 and Unknown-333172 appear to represent the same person because: Same name, same approximate and estimated birth date. No conflicting information.

Please do not put "Unknown" in the Other Last Names field, as it triggers a database error, and it is not really necessary as her LNAB is already Unknown. Thanks!
It makes sense since she is unknown. - done.

Hello profile managers, would you agree to changing her Last Name At Birth to Unknown?

Cloutier is the name of her daughter's husband. Thank you!

I made a genealogic error and although I am a multiple descendant of Perrine; I am not a direct female line MTDNA descendant. My MTDNA line is probably Mercy Painter mother of Madeleine Sarah Allen. I actually match those descendants on my autosomal line and the strongest match, 8 chromosomes on GEDMatch with a lowered cutoff; has no known French Canadian ancestry. All French Canadians share some mutual ancestry which makes it difficult to separate out specific such ancestors with autosomal DNA alone.

Changes made by Claude Lambert at 15:20, 14 December 2016. - No source mentionned. A link to Geneanet is mentionned in the text section.

Jim, I suspect that it comes from Geneanet, which links her as mother of Xainte Dupont. [1]

Gaston, how did you determine that Perrine's surname was Cloutier or Rousseau? This is not shown on the FichierOrigine 241403. Thank you, Jim

Unkwn-17 and Cloutier-780 appear to represent the same person because: clearly the same. among several in a line
