Disputed Parents: Benjamin Rowe (1680-1737) and Mary Jervis has been given as her parents, but their daughter Ruth was born in October of 1721, and baptized 12 November 1721. [2][3].Ruth of this profile had son James in August of 1721.
The Ruth Rowe is shown in DAR records must be the daughter Ruth born in 1721, considering DAR has her as the wife of Private James Dismukes, born 28 August 1721, Caroline County, Virginia; died September 1787 in Jones County, Georgia. Service: Virginia; Residence: Caroline County. James and Ruth (Rowe) Dismukes' son Edmond married Iva Cox.[4]
