In terms of my genealogy: I am especially interested in breaking my Rowe line and my Akins line. I've done DNA, and I know which Akins line I match. What I want to do is patch the holes and add the people who are my direct ancestors. My Rowe's came to Oregon from Somerset County in Maine. Before Maine they were in New Hampshire. However, there are so many Rowe's in New England I have no clue where I come from beyond that. Would love help. Have uploaded my DNA here too.

I've been into genealogy and history since I was about 15 when Root's came on TV. I'm a member of several historical societies, and genealogical societies. I am on the board of Directors of the Douglas County Historical Society, Douglas County, Oregon. I co-edit and write for the Umpqua Trapper. I just really get into this.
