Biography

Francis, son and heir of John Rowe of Tavistock and his wife Elizabeth Moore, was 20 years of age in 1620,^[1] giving him an estimated birth date of 1600.

He marrried Elizabeth Weeks on 4 August 1639 at Lamerton, Devon, England. Their children were:^[2]

Joane, bap 8 Aug 1641 Lamerton,
Mary bap 13 May 1643 at Lamerton,
Catherine, bap. 18 May 1645 at Lamerton
John, bap 11 May 1647 Lamerton, d. 30 April, bur 7 May 1692 in the Temple Church

Francis was resident in Lamerton in 1642 when he took the oath of Protestation.^[3]

Francis died on 24 February 1665.^[4]
