1861-1901 Census
In the 1861 Census, Elizabeth is aged 11 months, living with her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth, at Lower Farthings, Zeal Monachorum, Devon, England[1].
By the time of the 1871 Census, the Rowe family have been living at Ilfracombe for at least six years. They are living at 24, Fore Street, Ilfracombe, Devon, England where Thomas has started up in business as a Donkey Chair Proprietor providing visitors rides along the sea front. Elizabeth A. has a younger brother, William, born about 1864 in Ilfracombe.[2].
In the 1881 Census, Elizabeth, still living at home with her parents, Thomas and Elizabeth, is running a Refreshment Room, while her brother, William, is the Donkey Chair Driver. They have moved from 24 to 53, Fore Street in Ilfracombe and Thomas is now a Bath Chair Proprietor[3].
Marriage
Elizabeth, aged 22, married George Wellington between January 1883 and March 1883 at Ilfracombe, Devon, England[4]. They had four children: Beatrice Emily[5], George William, Minnie Florence and Ivy Joyce[6].
Elizabeth became a widow, when George died at Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales in the fourth quarter of 1898[7].
1901-1911 Census
In the 1901 Census, Elizabeth Wellington was living at 23, Comet Street, Roath, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales with her children, George (11), Minnie F. (8) and Ivy J.(3)[6].
At the time of the 1911 Census, Elizabeth, with her children, Minnie and Ivy, is residing at 18, Eldon Street, Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales. Also in the house are Sophia Hodges and Frederick Robbins - a Warehouseman in Wholesale Drapery from Ilfracombe[8].
Marriage
In the last quarter of 1912, Elizabeth married Frederick William Robbins (born in Ilfracombe, Devon England about 1867)[8] in Cardiff[9].
Death
Elizabeth Robbins died on 10 February 1954, aged 93 in Cardiff, Glamorgan, Wales[10]
Probate
Probate was granted at the Llandaff Registry on 8 March 1954 to Ivy Joyce Wellington, spinster; Amount:£710[10].
