Although there is no concrete proof that Judith was the daughter of Henryand Penelope (Clark) Rowland, the circumstancial evidence is prettystrong. I believe that Penelope might have been pregnant with Judith atthe time of Henry's death, and that is why she is not specifically listedin his will. It would have made sense for Penelope to name Judith afterher mother, Judith (Adams) Clark. Also, Henry and Penelope's daughter Mary was in Newberry Co., SC in 1791--the same timeframe that Judith married Micajah Reeder in that same area. All of Henry and Penelope'sknown children who lived to adulthood ended up in the same part of KY where Judith and Micajah lived in at the same time. Henry's daughter Mary's son John Bush, Jr. also ended up in the same area of AR that Judith and Micajah ended up in at the same time. If the above were not Judith's siblings, they must have surely been at least close relatives.
