STANDEN (Regent's Park), Mr. and Mrs. P. STANDEN (Lake Cargelllco). Mrs. M. FOLEY, and Mrs. P. HYDE, and FAMILIES, are kindly Invited to attend the Funeral of their dearly loved MOTHER. MOTHER IN-LAW, and GRANDMOTHER, Ann Standen; to leave St. John's Church, Queen-street, Auburn, THIS DAY, at 2.20, for the Catholic Cemetery, Rookwood, No. 3 Mortuary.

The death took place at her residence, 34 Susan Street, Auburn, on March 23, at the ripe old age of 89, of Mrs. A. Standen, last surviving daughter of the late John Rudd, of Rudd's Gate, Campbelltown (now Maryflelds, the Franciscan Novitiate). The late Mrs. Standen enjoyed excellent health up to the last twelve months. During her illness she was assiduosly nursed by her daughter, Mrs. McSweeney. The late Mrs. Standen's father, John Rudd, was with his brother, a member of Hume, the explorer's party which first discovered and crossed the River Murray. After their return the Rudd brothers took up station properties in the Wagga district, subsequently known as "Colomba Plains" and "Warrengibobbity."

Annie died 23rd March 1937 at 24 Susan Street, Auburn, Municipality of Auburn. She was 88 years. Her cause of death was Myocarditis, Bed Sores and Arteriole Sclerosis. Her father was John Rudd and mother Nancy Mahoney. The informant was her grandson T Sweeney, of 34 Susan Street, Auburn.

Annie was buried 24th March 1937 at the Roman Catholic Cemetary, Rookwood. She was born at Campbelltown, NSW. She married at Grenfell, NSW aged 22 to John Standen.

Children to her marriage were Virginia 65, Melvina 60, Blanche 58,John 56, Percival 54, Minerva 50, Pearl 48 all living. One male deceased.
