Biography
"Christian (Kristian) König, leaseholder of the monastery farm in Obernimburg, Baden starting 1728. He died there 28 June 1761 after a long illness. He was married to a Rupp, whose given name has not been established. She was born somewhere in France, probably in Alsace, and grew up on the Hochburg estate, Sexau, Baden, Germany, about six miles east of Nimburg. She was a daughter of Christian Rupp, the first Anabaptist to lease the Hochburg. He moved there from Kunheim, Haut-Rhin, Alsace in 1713.[1]
