Biography

William was a Friend (Quaker)

William was born 5 Aug 1743.[1] William Russell was a Quaker resident of Dartmouth, Massachusetts.[2] He was a son of Abraham and Dinah Russell of Dartmouth.[3]

He married Hephzibah Mosher, daughter of Nathaniel and Ruth Mosher of Dartmouth, on 25d 9m 1783.[3]

The family was granted a certificate to the New Bedford monthly meeting from the Dartmouth monthly meeting on 18 of 6 mo. 1798 [18 Jun 1798].[4]

He died 17 Mar 1825.[5] He is buried in Rural Cemetery in New Bedford.[5]
