Ellen (Russell) Lowe is part of a Bahamian family.

Biography

Mary was born circa 1852 in the Bahamas, probably in the vicinity of Abaco.^[1] Her parentage remains undetermined.

She married James Gilford Lowe on 19 March 1870 in Green Turtle Cay.^[2]

Mary was shot by her husband on 27 August 1905 and succumbed to her injuries on 18 September 1905. ^[3]
