Dolly Bradbury BRADBURY, Dolly Velma – Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, mother-in-law and friend, passed away March 17, 1997, at the age of 86. She was born on October 8, 1910 to William and Williamina (NIEMAN) Russell, in Gilead, Nebraska. In her early childhood she was raised on a farm with her three sisters in Fromberg, Montana. Later she attended Hillcrest School and then went to Luarel, Montana. She graduated at Billings's Senior High School in 1930. On September 2, 1934, Dolly married Harvey J. Bradbury in Billings, Montana. They moved to South Gate, California where they had three children: JoAnne, Jerry, and Jacklyn. Her husband passed away in May of 1943. She then moved back to Billings with her children and took a nursing course. She worked for many years as an licensed practical nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital. She was also a seamstress and an excellent baker. In 1983 Dolly moved to Roseburg, Oregon to live out her life. Survivors include a sister, Berniece Olson of Tacoma, Washington; son Jerry O. Bradbury of Billings, Montana; a daughter, Jacklyn McGril of Roseburg, Oregon; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; four nieces and two nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnne Gartner in November 1991 and two sisters in 1992 and 1993. She was blessed with many dear friends. Private cremation rites have been held. Inurnment will be by her parents in Billings, Montana. WILSON'S CHAPEL OF THE ROSES is in charge of arrangements. We will all miss this loving person.
