Elizabeth Russell was born around 1754, probably in Hodgestown, County Kildare. She married William Hoowee son of Thomas Hoowee and Anne Nevins in a Quaker ceremony in Timahoe, County Kildare on 3 June 1779. They had eight children.[1] She died on 24 Apr 1792 at her house in Clonkeen, County Kildare and was buried near Edenderry, King's County.[2]
