Sarah "Sally" Russell, the daughter of Elihu Russell and Hepsabeth Pinkham, was born in Nantucket, Massachusetts. There are two birth dates given in the record: February 17, 1788-9 ("17th, 12 mo. 1788") and April 17, 1789 ("17th, 2 mo. 1789").[1]
She married Samuel Bunker, son of Barnabas and Lydia (Gardner) Bunker, in Nantucket on July 17, 1808.[2]
